Work As If You Have All the Time in the World

by Michael Feeley
You physically change as you mature, and you may think the bloom is fading off the rose. However, you could choose a better mindset and see that you still have new sprouts to nurture and grow, new possibilities to consider, and new opportunities to create.
Aging has me know that my time is limited, yet I continue to create work each day as if I have all the time in the world.
This quotation by George Bernard Shaw expresses me well:
“I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no “brief candle” for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.”
