Applause is gratitude for an actor, singer, dancer, and other performing artists.

Laughter is gratitude for a comedian.

A good book review is gratitude to an author.

Winning an election is gratitude to a politician.

A blooming flower is gratitude to a gardener.

A clean, shiny car is gratitude to a car owner.

Talking to a guest on your podcast is gratitude to the interviewer.

A purring cat is vibrating gratitude.

A good medical report is gratitude.

Tasting your favorite food is gratitude.

Securing a taxi at a busy time is gratitude.

Doing work you love is gratitude.

Helping people is gratitude.

Having clean laundry is gratitude.

Holding the galley of your book is gratitude.

Seeing and hugging people you love is gratitude.

Gratitude takes many forms. It’s unlimited. It includes hope, appreciation, wonder, thanks, liking… all kinds of different emotions and facts.
