HOW DO YOU live with disappointment?
How do you get out of disappointment.
You have big hopes about something – selling your home – getting into a certain school – earning a new client – meeting someone you can love – succeeding at your own business.
Then, it doesn’t happen.
You’re devastated – let down – hurt – angry – numb – lost.
It’s okay to feel disappointed. Give yourself time to reflect and heal and make sense of the results.
Look after your mental and physical health.
See where you’re proud of your efforts and choices.
What worked?
Where could you have done better?
Move to plans B, C, X, Y, or Z, and start again.
Keep hoping.
Something else will happen; when it does, it is often better than you originally imagined.
You’re resilient.
You can recover.
