Don’t Ever Lose Enthusiasm
by Michael Feeley
ENTHUSIASM IS LIKE electricity.
It’s energy and intense enjoyment running through you.
It turns you on – lights you up – empowers you.
Ardor – Fervor – Zeal – Zest – Brio – Pep – Vivacity – Excitement – Fire – Ebullience – Zip – Get Up and Go – Oomph –
Va-Va-Va-Vooooom – And All That Jazz!
The complete opposite of apathy.
Here are two of my favorite people to back me up on enthusiasm:
“You can do anything if you have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes shine to the stars.
Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eyes, the swing in your gait—the grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of will and energy to execute your ideas.” – Henry Ford
“Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might.
Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic, and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
And this is me:
“Don’t ever lose enthusiasm!” – Michael Feeley
