You’ve Got Skills – Use Them
by Michael Feeley
All the skills you use in your life and work are transferable. They move with you wherever you go. They are friends and assets. Your occupation shouldn’t make you feel trapped in a job. You’re resilient, resourceful, and innovative. What you do creates value.
Too often, a system or the status quo or your own mindset wants to manage you, letting you know you can only do one thing: that you and your work history (resume) define you and make you think you’re over or underqualified. As a person who worked as a headhunter, finding people jobs for over 20 years, and reinvented himself a few times, it is not true.
What is one skill you have that will work for you in any other job that you may want?

– Typing

Thoroughly know and respect the skills and abilities you have. The facts and truth about your experience will lead you to other careers you aspire to and continue to make you successful.
