You Can Create Change

ACROSS THE STREET from my home is a beautiful, grassy field with several mango trees and a magnificent view of
mountains and hills.
With it comes two large trucks – a green one with a stainless steel water tank to transport 1,000 gallons of fresh water and
an orange dump truck to move huge amounts of boulders and dirt.
I was irritated by them for a long time but chose to see them differently – a way I can gratefully live with.
I know the man, his wife, and his young child who park his trucks there. He’s working – making a living to support his family.
He has helped me.
When you can’t change something, you can choose to change how you see and think about it.
It may not be easy, but you can change your mind and have a change of heart if you want to.
The ability to change – to make a different and better choice – is a powerful ability and gift we each have.
