The Work You Do Should Matter
by Michael Feeley
EVERY DAY I do work I love. It’s my choice. I created it. I have a daily practice, a routine, and commitments that work for me.
> I’m a Life + Career + Change Coach.
> I write and publish a Daily Blog – Commit2Change – inspiring people to live their best lives.
> I run a real estate company on a Caribbean island.
I do work I’m proud of – work I believe matters and helps people feel good. My work is not ‘Quiet Quitting.’ I’m engaged.
I go above and beyond because I want to and I can. I care. Quality service is crucial to me. I’m a creative and thrive on having
a good effect on others and helping them get what they want.
– Maybe you give hiking tours.
– You’re a musical director for a choir.
– You teach yoga.
– You’re a therapist.
– A financial analyst.
– Help people write resumes.
– Sell Asian food at the weekly farmer’s market.
– Clean offices and homes.
– Design and sew clothing.
– Manage properties.
– Run a hardware store.
There is a multitude of options for you to do work you love.
The work you do every day is important. It should matter to you, and if it doesn’t, you have the choice to take action and
do different work, or change how you see your present job so you can be happy living your life.
