Only for You or Someone Else As Well
by Michael Feeley
THE WORK YOU DO – the things you create – are they just for you or also for someone else, other people?
You only = one audience member – yourself.
You don’t have to ship your work, no publishing a Blog of your ideas, no showing or selling your pottery or art at a gallery or fair, no dancing on stage in a troop, no cooking ‘Daily Specials’, no playing piano or any instrument publically, no podcast on creating change in peoples lives+++
There is no risk.
There is no “Open for Business.”
No possibility of criticism (except by you).
No one to serve or help.
You sharing = for other people.
You decide to show up with what you make. You give something, ship your skills on a yoga mate and teach, help others live better with coaching, sell your vegetables, baked goods, and handmade clothing at a farmer’s market or in stores.
It’s you being brave and generous, a creative, a learner, a goodwill ambassador, and a professional who thinks about other people and what they need and want.
It’s you having empathy for others because you can and want to.
It’s you caring and hoping to make some difference.
What an exciting opportunity and choice for you. Sure – it’s also a little scary because someone might not like your work, product, or services, and that’s okay. You can’t please everyone, and you don’t need to try.
Your people, your audience are waiting for you and what you have to offer the world.
Please go and find them.
Thanks – Michael (he, him)
Please share this Daily with your tribes.
