Living with Disappointment

HOW CAN YOU live with disappointment when someone or something fails you?
1. Ignore your feelings and pretend being let down doesn’t bother you.
2. Express your criticisms. Say what you feel so your upset doesn’t eat at you. Maybe show your anger.
3. See what can be done to create a solution you can live with.
You can change disappointment and upset into something positive and hopeful—perhaps gratitude, peace, and happiness.
Disappointment is a learning experience, a chance to grow and be resilient even with the pain you feel.
