Leave Shore for Your True Self

by Michael Feeley
Sometimes you need to leave the shore and lose sight of land, go right to the edge, and even hang over the edge to discover new lands. Learn new things. Change. Become your true self because you have Big dreams to live.
It’s a risk you are impelled to take because the adventure is essential for you, your happiness, and welfare, and somewhere you hope what you find will also benefit others.
Maybe you leave home to live somewhere new.
You quit a job or career that no longer works for you.
Change a relationship.
You want more for your one precious life.
Are you living as you want?
If yes, then you are set… for now.
If no, then figure out what you want and go after it.
Make Twain expresses it exceptionally well:
“Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
