Awareness. Then Action
by Michael Feeley
Underneath everything, a creative process is running. Quiet, constant, working whether you notice or not. Everyone has it. The question is whether you’re tuned in.
That’s awareness. Catching the signal: the idea that surfaces while your hands are working in the garden soil, the answer that arrives whole in meditation, the fragment a dream hands you on waking. Not random. Your process, surfacing exactly when you’re quiet enough to hear it.
Awareness alone isn’t enough. The thought that goes unwritten, unspoken, unbuilt — it dissolves. Resistance dresses itself as reason: “You’ll remember it later.” You won’t.
So act. Write it down. Speak it into your phone. Move the plant, make room for the rose you cannot live without. A book, a podcast, a seminar — give it a body before it disappears.
Tune in, then build.
Awareness without action is a missed thought opportunity that visits and leaves.
Awareness with action becomes a tangible, creative choice to develop.
What is the message the world is sending you? Catch it. Build the inspiration into something real. Don’t waste your thoughts or let complacency be the thief of what your own mind and heart hands you.
