Aging

by Michael Feeley
How do you see yourself aging?
I see myself as vintage – getting better with age.
– If you see a well-maintained vintage car, you pause with awe and respect.
– If you visit the Louvre Museum, do you look at the Mona Lisa and think she’s too old to hang there and should be replaced with a younger model?
– Should people retire Mount Everest, stop the climbing adventure because it’s been around for 60 million years?
I don’t see myself as a victim of aging. I have many more dreams to live and encores to give because I’m not finished living my life full out. It’s the death part that stinks.
