You Have Confidence
by Michael Feeley
Confidence means you know you can do something. You have skills, knowledge, conviction, sureness, and experience. In Latin, it means “with trust.”
You rely on yourself and also others when you’re confident.
You gain confidence by practicing something repeatedly until it feels natural, easy, and comfortable.
Learning how to walk.
Speaking a language.
Playing an instrument.
Riding a bike.
Baking a chocolate souffle.
Running a business.
Writing a blog.
Interviewing people on a podcast.
There is self-trust in confidence, and others also trust you.
There is a good feeling in having confidence. “I like this. I can do this. I’m secure.”
Confidence is not ego or self-importance but rather a profound, quiet, inside certainty and mindset that you can achieve, and it includes knowing your limits and having self-esteem, self-reliance, and self-acceptance.
Confidence is a lovely, powerful, and attractive thing.
Where are you confident?
