Why Create a Daily Visual Story?
by Michael Feeley
MY DAILY WORK is a visual story – posting a photograph and words.
It’s my point of view to connect with you and create some positive change – adding to you and making you think and
be touched somehow.
Sight and sound are in my work (especially when you read the words out loud.)
It’s the creative process that I thrive on doing this! Expressing my self and, at the same time, hoping to help you understand and like the world around you and yourself too.
There are logic and emotion in my choice of words and pictures. Feelings and facts. Photos and pathos.
As a visual person, I love putting together the visible and the verbal. It’s one reason I loved picture storybooks as a child and later loved being an actor; creating a story on stage with words, music, costumes, actions.
My work is not generic. It’s not cranked out or dashed off. I think about what I want to say, and I search for the right photo to make a good blend of words and images – seeing and feeling and putting my heart into the work.
My work is the same and different every day.
That’s the process and practice – the oneness of “Who’s it for? – and – What’s it for?”

Please share this visual and verbal post with all your tribes.
