Where are You Enough?
by Michael Feeley
The fear of not being good enough can appear at any time. Those words—”not good enough”— can paralyze you, make you feel worthless, and question your abilities, knowledge, skills, personality, and character.
How do you deal with this resistance? You stick to the facts and tell the truth about you.
Yes or no is one way to tell the truth and see the facts.
You might be applying for a job that requires fluent Castilian Spanish–speaking, reading, and writing. You’re a master at speaking the language but only 50% good at reading and 20% writing.
Yes. These are the facts, and they mean no, you are not qualified in all ways. And, with kindness to yourself, it’s fair to you to know you are not good enough. It’s the truth; you can use it to bury yourself, be angry, or be comfortable with it. You also might want to be inspired by the truth and change this by studying and learning more to be good enough and add more self-value.
You have abundant assets that make you good enough and beyond in so many ways, abilities that are true and needed by others and the world.
What is the truth about you?
Study and document where you are good and where you are enough.
The truth sets boundaries and creates freedom, opportunities, confidence, inspiration, power, happiness, gratitude, and success.
Let the truth create trust in yourself.
Our true state of being is good enough, which is high praise because we are each a perfect and unique energy force, a human being full of potential. That’s the truth.
