The 3 C’s
by Michael Feeley
You are a caregiver.
You give care to people you love — family, friends, neighbors, colleagues. You show up. You listen. You help. You stay.
You are a caretaker.
You take care of things entrusted to you — your home, your car, your finances, your pets, your health. These aren’t chores. They’re responsibilities you’ve chosen to honor.
And you are creative.
Not necessarily in the paintbrush-and-canvas sense. Creative in the way you organize a morning, plan a meal, solve a problem at work, keep a household running. Your routines are a form of art. Breakfast made. Laundry folded. Bills paid. A garden watered.
Creativity is how care gets done.
Speak the 3 C’s out loud — Caregiver – Caretaker – Creative.
They have a certain pleasing rhythm that goes deep and expresses who you are and what you do.
They live in you every single day.
Look at your life and see how they work in you and describe you.
You are all three.
