Tenacious You
by Michael Feeley
Tenacious is one attitude we discover and lead with in career coaching because it’s a positive approach we aim for, the personal choice people select as they work to renew how they see staying at their present job or when looking to do similar work at a different company or when building an entirely new career.
It means never giving up, never stopping, and steadily trying to achieve what you want. By never giving up on creating change for yourself and others, you’ve got tenacity. That’s a strong and pleasing word and a fine way to see yourself as you seek a job.
Commitment, action, persistence, and determination are power promoters because finding work is a challenging and exciting process.
Bodacious – another word meaning remarkable and impressive.
Audacious – being surprisingly bold when it comes to taking creative risks. This boldness should make you feel courageous and adventurous in your career pursuits.
The “cious” suffix is coming up, which means “full of” and “having”— not depleted or lacking but rather full of spirit and having drive.
