Serving Others Makes You a Star
by Michael Feeley
DO I WANT to stand out and be a star? You bet!
And at the same time, I just like doing my work—the best work I possibly can, minding my business without my ego
taking center stage.
I see both desires in me, and when I dig deep into my self, my core values, I know the truth:
I’m interested in helping other people be all they can be—hoping to be fair to their aspirations – helping to find answers, solutions, results. That’s what runs me.
> Serving people.
> Giving to people.
> Guiding people.
> Creating change.
> Producing work that I’m proud of for the audience of people who care about my work and like the effect I have on them.
It feels natural and great to try and know another human being and then go further than expected to help someone
get what they want.
That’s the personal recognition I love most – self-satisfaction – gratitude – without expecting anything in return.
Thanks – Michael
