SCRUPLES – A POSITIVE choice that shows you have a conscience because you question your actions.

It’s a feeling of reluctance with deep care and precision that stops you from doing something you feel is morally wrong.

Robin Hood had no scruples about robbing the rich and giving to the poor.

Some politicians with scruples don’t lie about their business affiliations, taxes, and beliefs.

Many musicians pay scrupulous attention to the value of every single note in a musical composition.

Some people with moral integrity come to my mind:

– Ruth Bader Ginsburg

– Nelson Mandela

– Gloria Steinem

– Sir Thomas More

– Joan of Arc

– Martin Luther King Jr.

– Rosa Parks

– Harriet Tubman

– Oskar Schindler

Then there is unscrupulous – dishonest – amoral – unprincipled – evil.
