Sameness and Difference and Holidays
by Michael Feeley
HAPPY HOLIDAYS ARE words that show respect for how people worldwide celebrate different ways of living – honoring people’s world views – cultures – religions – beliefs – genders – age – abilities – life choices.
I’m studying my entire life.
I’m looking at my words and actions of where I’ve been unjust to others so I can change my self – at home – at work – community – the world.
I’m helping to develop a culture of goodwill – gratitude – learning – empathy – transparency – collaboration – communication.
Each of these words matters to me. If I understand them, then I can change.

Three books help me to change:
1. Inclusive Conversations by Mary-Frances Winters
2. How To Be An Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi
3. White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo
Happy Holidays can easily, mightily change into eternal Happy Days…
celebrating the beauty of sameness and difference together.
