Relentless

by Michael Feeley
I like the word relentless. It has powerful energy. Unceasing, unwavering, intense but not harsh or grinding. Persistent, constant, driven, and unstoppable. I have lived relentlessly, and it has shaped my life in many ways.
It’s not about forcing your way through something but finding direction through and over challenges with unwavering purpose.
Relentless has a quiet confidence that there is a way forward to the goal you set and dream of.
Coming out of adversity, I was relentless at an early age to make a better life for myself. To be happy on my terms. I refused to believe the cards I was dealt would hold me where I started.
I relentlessly achieved my dream of becoming a professional actor and singer in New York City. Nothing derailed me. Not the rejections, financial struggles, or my inner bully telling me I was not worth it. I would not make it. Once I achieved it, I continued to relentlessly maintain and improve my skills and craft. Arriving was only the start of mastery.
I’ve been relentless in offering superior service, being indispensable, and succeeding at the top of my game in many jobs. Relentless is a way of life in nearly everything I do.
What does the word relentless mean to you?
Where have you been relentless?
