Pristine
by Michael Feeley
Pristine means fresh, unspoiled, in original condition.
But here’s what I’ve discovered: pristine isn’t about being untouched—it’s about being whole.
Each new day is pristine, even with clouds and stormy weather. The weather doesn’t diminish the newness. Today arrives unmarked, full of possibilities we haven’t yet shaped.
Every idea, even with roughness and creative beginnings, is pristine. The idea doesn’t need polish to have that quality of original truth.
We are each pristine—spotless, new, fresh. Like a car in pristine condition after 12 years. It’s been driven on experienced roads and weather, yet it remains well-maintained and intact in its essential nature.
I am 73 and I’m pristine. Not because I’m unchanged, but because I’m fully, authentically here, complete in this moment with flaws and abundant hopes and dreams.
What would change if you woke tomorrow knowing you were pristine? Not despite your age, your mistakes, your rough edges—but including them?
You have pristine potential. You are always a clean slate with unlimited possibilities and opportunities.
Pristine isn’t about perfection—it’s about wholeness, presence, and the perpetual newness of being alive.
