Positive and Negative
by Michael Feeley
HOW CAN YOU put together negative and positive feelings and thoughts? A battery does it superbly – one end is negative, and one end is positive.
It’s a good and fun process to study negativity and positivity to see if they are working well for you or not.
Here are some suggestions:
– Recognize your thoughts and understand why you feel joyful and grateful or irritated and angry. Knowing the facts of why you feel and think certain things strengthens your happiness and also helps to take away the power of negativity.
– If your good and bad feelings work for you, keep them. If not, make a different and better choice. You can change your mind and change your heart.
– Take action and power up positivity. Consciously focus on positive things, people, places, work.
– See if your anger and criticisms are just or unjust.
– Express gratitude and thanks.
– Talk about what upsets you. Don’t keep it hidden just for you.
– Be active – change your location – go for a walk and get back to nature, sunshine, rain, wind, fresh air, trees and plants,
stars and moonlight.
– Listen to your favorite music – watch an inspiring movie – read – dance – sing – paint – garden – organize – shop – cook – exercise – meditate – love the people closest to you.
– Be interested in other people – see what is going on in people’s lives and be helpful. Care.
Choice is power. Keep your personal battery charged with the right things.
