Nature Helps Us Live Better

by Michael Feeley
While gardening, I discovered this Johnny-Jump-Up (Jumping-Jack) growing out of a stone wall. I was captivated by its life.
It clearly shows how resilient and adaptable this flower is. It tells me that even when we are stuck in a hard place, we can grow, thrive, be brilliant, and bloom with persistence and exuberance.
These cheerful flowers have deep, intense colors. (See the opposites they put together – cheerful and deep?) They are heat—and cold-hardy and grow all season long, from early Spring into Fall.
Nature holds the answers for living better if we care to look and identify with the world around us.
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”– Albert Einstein.
