My Second Try with Claude AI

by Michael Feeley
Artificial Intelligence and I are getting to know each other.
I’m diving in and working on ChatGPT, asking questions about editing and writing, and even asking ChatGPT to write in the style of myself—Michael Feeley, author of The Next Act. What a surprise. It sounded like me.
I like how it makes suggestions and asks questions about what I am planning next.
Now I am also trying Claude, which was developed by Anthropic. It is also a large language model (LLM).
It asks many more questions and makes several more suggestions, even offering to create press releases and plan workshops.
One question that thrilled me was asking Claude – What am I missing in this document that I might consider adding? The answer was detailed and expansive, and Claude even praised me for asking for criticism to improve.
These tools challenge me, suggest things I hadn’t considered, and push me to clarify what I’m trying to say. I use this tool to learn not to copy. I like to write and publish in my own words.
Why AI now for me? I’m 73, and I don’t want to be a senior individual left behind by this opportunity. I am at the beginning of learning, growing, and connecting with others who help guide me through what is happening now with AI technology.
Wonder and gratitude are with me. I’m embracing this tool, not hiding or being afraid.
Where do you stand with AI?
What is working well for you as you explore AI?
Thanks – Michael (he, him)
