Let Respect Run Your Life
by Michael Feeley
I’VE BEEN POWER washing my house and decks. Something I love doing because the change from dirty to clean
is so satisfying. It’s work that matters.
The deepest joy comes from knowing I’m caring for something – maintaining – and respecting something.
Compare it to washing your car – making sure your children get to school and do their homework – weeding and watering a garden – doing your laundry or dishes – buying food and supplies – talking and listening to your partner – bringing in your mail – cleaning your house – helping a friend or neighbor+++
Let respect and care for objects and people run your life.
Thanks – Michael (he, him)
