Fearless and Fear Less

by Michael Feeley
When are you fearless?
What are you doing, planning, and choosing that makes you not afraid, brave, bold, on purpose, confident, dauntless, intrepid, and adventurous?
Once I know what I want and why, I create a step-by-step plan to achieve it. It is not haphazard or casual but logically strategic, and I am committed to going after something and doing the work to get it. These actions make me fearless. Maybe it’s hoping to work with a specific company, studying with and learning from a particular thought leader, developing new skills, and earning better clients.
The fears we create and allow to entrap us can be named. Call it the fear of the unknown, fearing failure, fear of not trying, fearing success (as crazy as that sounds), fear of rejection, and the big one – fear of change.
Once you target what you are afraid of, label the fear, say it out loud, and write it down to give it form and make it real and tangible. Doing this will enable you to break through the fear with a strong understanding.
You can make a conscious choice not to fear something, and it will empower you: “I am not afraid of_______________.”
When you know more, you fear less, and you are fearless.
