Create Change
by Michael Feeley
Every tsunami begins with a shock beneath the surface – a shift that says “something must change.” Every avalanche starts with a single snowflake that finally tips the balance.
These aren’t disasters. They’re nature’s way of reshaping what can no longer stay the same.
Your life works the same way. That moment when you realize you can’t keep living someone else’s timeline? That’s your shock. The day you decide your experience matters more than their expectations? That’s your snowflake adding its weight.
Personal transformation always precedes collective change. You can’t reshape the world while you’re still frozen in place. But the moment you move – the moment you claim your next act, challenge age apartheid, or simply decide you’re not done contributing – you don’t just change your own landscape. You give others permission to move too.
One shock creates ripples. One snowflake starts the cascade. Then another person steps forward. And another. Until what seemed impossible becomes inevitable.
What are you waiting for?
What landscape in your life needs reshaping?
Be the shock. Be the snowflake. The wave starts with you, but it never ends there.
