Count On = Gratitude
by Michael Feeley
Today, my electricity was unexpectedly off for two hours. I count on electricity. I need it. I depend on it. I miss it. I expect it for lights, making coffee, keeping the refrigerator cold, the water pump and water heater working well, the telephone being charged and connected to people, and many other things.
I don’t always remember how grateful I am for things.
Count on = Gratitude
Need = Gratitude
Depend = Gratitude
Miss = Gratitude
Expect sometimes means we take things for granted.
What do you count on?
Who do you count on?
How will you express gratitude for the things and people you need and depend on?
Thanks – Michael (he, him)
