CO – Two Powerful Letters

by Michael Feeley
Every morning, before we even realize it, we’re living the magic of “CO.”
We wake up in a community – not just the neighborhood outside our window, but the invisible web of people who grew our coffee, built our homes, created the technology we reach for.
We seek connection – a text to a friend, the smile exchanged with a stranger, the moment our day shifts from solitude to togetherness.
We enter collaboration – joining video calls, sharing ideas, building something bigger than what we could create alone.
We practice cooperation – the simple dance of taking turns, listening first, choosing “we” over “me.”
We deepen through commitment – choosing to stay when something is “hard” and easy or quitting is so inviting. This is CO with time, connections that endure.
We mature into coexistence – learning to thrive alongside people who see the world differently, believe differently, live differently, and yet are related. We don’t have to be the same to belong to the same story.
CO. Two letters that change everything.
Without CO, we have:
mmunity (fragments)
nnection (isolation)
llaboration (competition)
operation (self-interest)
mmitment (indiffrence)
existence (division)
But with CO, we have wholeness.
These aren’t just words we use – they’re invitations we extend. Every time we choose community over isolation, connection over distance, collaboration over separate, cooperation over conflict, commitment over convenience, and coexistence over exclusion, we’re living the deepest truth about being human.
We are designed for togetherness.
Today, notice your CO moments. They’re everywhere, waiting to remind you that you belong to something beautiful and interconnected.
What CO word will you live most fully today?
