Choose Your Life

If what you are doing is pulling you away from the life you want, stop.
Not tomorrow. Not after one more season of waiting. Now.
We tell ourselves stories about why we can’t. The timing is wrong. People are counting on us. We’ve invested too much to walk away. But every hour spent on the wrong path is an hour stolen from the right one, and we don’t get those hours back.
The life you dream about is not a fantasy. It is information. It tells you who you are and where you belong. Listen to it.
Let nothing interfere. Not doubt, not habit, not other people’s opinions of what you should want. Let nothing sidetrack you with small distractions dressed up as obligations. Let nothing derail you when the road gets hard, because it will. And let nothing discourage you, not failure, not fear, not the inner bully voice that says you’re too old or it’s too late.
It is not too late. It is exactly the right time.
Stop what’s taking you away. Turn toward what calls you.
Make an achievable plan to succeed at the life you desire.
Then go after it. Wholeheartedly.
