Begin Again
by Michael Feeley
Some endings are gifts. Opportunities for abundant relief and personal regeneration.
When a difficult relationship ends — one saturated with stress, mistrust, manipulation, and ill will — the silence that follows isn’t loss. It’s space that embraces you. Room to breathe. Room to begin all over.
Call it a fresh start. A thriving good choice.
You survived something hard, and survival is its own kind of wisdom. You are allowed to go. You are allowed to leave what hurt you exactly where it fell.
No complaints. No resentment. No regret. The departure of an unkind, untrustworthy person requires none of that. They are gone. You are here. That’s enough. Well deserved.
Now learn from it.
What did it teach you about trust?
What did you learn about your own strength?
Where might you have enabled the stress, manipulation, and distrust?
Who deserves a place in your life?
Take those answers and walk forward.
There is a new road ahead. Fresh. Open. Yours.
Peace and gratitude aren’t luck — it’s what you reclaim when you choose not to linger.
Begin again. The light is already there.
