Apologize with the Same Vigor You Bullied

by Michael Feeley
I know a person who mercilessly used social media to bully another adult.
When I spoke with her, she said she tried to apologize to the person.
I asked: “Why didn’t you apologize on social media with the same vigor, intensity, persistence, and specificity you had when you consistently chose to attack and harm this other human being for weeks?”
“Where is your integrity?”
She had no answer.
I hope she makes the choice to have goodwill and live one way by asking for forgiveness on social media with rich, active details.
How refreshing would a genuine, lengthy apology be compared to hatred?
What difference would it have on people reading this kind of honest regret?
Thanks – Michael (he, him)
