Accurate Gratitude and Wanting More
by Michael Feeley
WE DO A LOT to live the best lives we can.
We can always want more if we are grateful for what we have.
What if wanting more is not right for you?
What if what you already have is enough?
Maybe you don’t need to go to the top university – to own a bigger home or the most popular car on the road – to have a big title and make a ton of money.
How much do you need to live well?
What is enough for you in all aspects of your life?
I love to challenge myself, raise the bar to learn more, and offer better service and products; however, I’m satisfied with what I need to be happy. Gratitude is my daily focus; sometimes, it’s gratitude for nearly every moment of how I live – factual awe for what I’ve achieved – my work – my choices to help people – and my intention to improve the world.
I can never be 100 percent grateful for all I have because gratitude is endless. That’s its nature, like love, happiness, and many other emotions.
Accurate gratitude helps me to know what is enough and right for me to live my best life.
