Your skills create value for you and others. Skills are your assets. They make you valuable in your present career and future if you decide to change jobs or careers.

You carry your skills wherever you go, so knowing precisely what they are enables you to promote yourself and shine at work. They will also attract other opportunities and people.

It’s crucial to create a skill list. Make them tangible by writing down all your skills in detail.

Your value also includes what you’ve contributed in your career and what you hope to contribute.
