You Have Options – Look and Ask
by Michael Feeley
There are always options. You must seek them out to find alternatives because you are resourceful and resilient.
1. Look around to see what or who is right in front of you.
2. Ask people to help.
I know a man who delivers groceries to me on Tuesdays. He’s friendly, respectful, and reliable, so I asked him if he knew people who could help me with work on some real estate properties I manage—gardening, painting, and balancing pools.
He said he could help. We met at one of the homes at the end of his workday, and as I showed him around, I realized that I had hit gold. He knew what he was talking about and shared his skills, experience, and references with me.
He’s generous and works hard all week but can help on Sundays and he said he can also use the extra money.
I’m immensely grateful to the universe for coming through for me. Helping me find what I need and also being able to help someone else. We will work together as a team.
See what I mean – You always have options. Look and ask.
