What’s the Most Important Special Occasion?

What’s the Most Important Special Occasion?

by Michael Feeley September 12, 2021

ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS, you get to wear your best clothes, meaningful jewelry, use the family silver, crystal glasses, and china that is passed along and only come out for the holidays and surprise events, and you also get to sit in the front living room and eat in the dining room.

That’s how special occasions were for me growing up.

> Why should we save some things for best and seldom use them?

> Why shouldn’t every day be a special occasion where you get to wear what you want and use the items you love instead of keeping them in a closet, dresser drawer, or safe?

Living life is the daily special occasion!

It’s your choice to see every day as an important event to celebrate and savor as well as the meaning of your life.
