What Do You Respond To?
by Michael Feeley
I had a potted plant that a friend had forgotten to water while I was away for a few weeks. It was heartbreaking to see it so distressed when it once filled the pot with lush green leaves and blooms.
I decided to water the bone-dry plant and cut back all the dead leaves. It looked like an empty pot, but I didn’t want to give up on it.
A couple of weeks later, it began to show new life. I was astonished and grateful. It made me see that we can never underestimate nature’s healing power and energy and how a little water changed what I had seen as a lost cause.
Don’t give up on things or yourself.
What do you respond well to?
What do you need to flourish and be your true self?
