Unacceptable Can Lead

Unacceptable Can Lead

by Michael Feeley July 20, 2024

You have a life, and it includes work.

You have standards and values—things you will accept and unacceptable things you will not settle for.

Be clear about this at your present job and when looking for work.

What do I need and want?

What’s an absolute deal breaker for me?

Where might I compromise and still respect myself?

Consider the company’s reputation, the effect services and products have on others, work atmosphere and culture, how people are treated, location, title, responsibilities, growth, freedom, creativity, salary, and benefits.

Unacceptable often leads the way, and that is perfectly OK.

“This is unacceptable.” They are powerful, decisive words.
