Truth Matters
by Michael Feeley
The Truth. The Whole Truth. Nothing But the Truth.
Say these words out loud. Feel their weight.
Some people live by them. Truth sits at their core – unshakeable, non-negotiable. It’s who they are when no one’s watching.
Others see truth as flexible. A tool to be bent, shaped, hidden. They lie to get what they want. They manipulate. Play victim when they’re the problem. Convince themselves their version is reality.
Here’s what matters: You know which one you are.
The truth-teller sleeps well. Looks people in the eye. Doesn’t need to remember what story they told to whom.
The truth-bender? They’re exhausted. Tracking lies takes energy. Living in fear of being found out is a prison.
Which description appeals to you?
Not which one sounds better. Which one is actually you?
Because here’s the real truth: You can’t hide from yourself. You know. Deep down, you always know.
Truth matters.
How much does it matter to you?
