Opportunity

One of my favorite words and ideas is opportunity.
It comes from the Latin phrase ob portum veniens, which means “coming toward a port.”
It refers to a favorable wind blowing ships into a safe harbor.
I like to see opportunity as something a good wind blew in my direction.
Perhaps a new job opportunity comes your way, or you create an opportunity to interview at a company you yearn to work for or with a specific person.
What will be your strategy to achieve what you want?
What is each small step you’ll take to attain the opportunity you hope for?
Let the good winds of opportunity guide you to your safe, new port.
