Mean Business

by Michael Feeley
Sometimes, we tear something down to rebuild and make it better. The change might include renovating yourself to improve and become more who you truly want to be and who you are.
Others tear down things to show they have power. They attack, destroy, control, create fear, and make people compliant.
Fear can tear you down, or you can make another choice and face fear and resistance with courage. To stand up for truth and justice and show you mean business. “No. I won’t stand for that. See you in court.”
Nelson Mandela said:
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
There’s I mean business for good, and there is mean business that harms.
How do you react to fear and mean business?
What decision will you stand for and mean?
