Make Things Better
by Michael Feeley
WHY ARE YOU always so happy? Could you not be so grateful? Not be so helpful and caring and giving and practical and reliable and friendly?
Do you ever have people say things like this to you?
What’s it about?
Often we see something in another person that we admire and love or dislike. It’s about something we want to change in ourselves – something to add and increase who we are or take something away, so we’re happier.
It’s an opportunity to do more work on being the person you want to be. Being your true self.
It’s a learning and growth possibility, and instead of being irritated, why not flip it around and create change
by asking yourself:
> Where can I do better?
> Where can I be happier?
> Where can I be more grateful? More helpful, caring, giving, practical, reliable, friendly, kind.
And then >>> How can I encourage these positive choices in other people?
