Kindness
by Michael Feeley
YOU HAVE DECIDED to make a change in yourself because you want your life to be different, to be better in a specific way, and to be more your ‘self.’
As you begin the process of change, be kind to yourself.
Self-kindness is the friendly desire to act with compassion – support – and unlimited self-love.
Don’t be harsh or overly critical of yourself because change is demanding, big stuff.
You’re challenging yourself to improve your mind and body, and entire life in some specific way. (Maybe learning new skills, improving your health, relationships, job, and creative work+++).
You’re digging around inside of you, altering how you live and think, and that takes generous, considerate courage and
loving care – not ruthless orders and severity.
> Welcome change and relax into it
> Approve of your self
> Nurture and love you
> Embrace yourself with empathy
> Give yourself tender understanding
No ganging up. Negative self-judgment is out. Abundant kindness is in.
Assess… observe… move… and grow in new directions.
You’re brave to make new choices and Commit2Change.
I celebrate you, and YOU must celebrate yourself with gratitude.
Thanks – Michael
