How Many Ways Are You Expressed?
by Michael Feeley
You can be expressed in many ways. Not just one.
Where are you expressed? What do you do, like doing, like creating, are passionate about? It’s most likely the deepest thing in you.
Writing, gardening, teaching, helping others. The work that calls to you isn’t arbitrary – it’s revealing something essential about who you are. Not who you should be or who others expect you to be, but who you actually are when you’re most alive.
This isn’t about fragmenting into different personas or being inconsistent. It’s about the richness of authentic expression. The same integrated self – the same person living “one way” – can show up through writing, conversation, teaching, real estate work, humor, silence, action, stillness. Through blog posts and property listings. Through asking questions and offering answers.
Integrity doesn’t mean monotony. You can be fully yourself while expressing that self through dozens of different channels and forms. A single note can be played on different instruments and still be true.
The danger is becoming different people in different contexts. But you can make a better, more unified choice in the many authentic ways you, one person, show up in the world.
