How Many People Can You Serve?
by Michael Feeley
If you’re a freelancer, working for yourself and doing all the work, you should decide the kind of service you’ll offer.
Will it be average, just doing enough, or quality where you go above and beyond?
What do people (your customers) hope for, expect, and want from you?
How many clients can you support and not stint on your service as you grow?
What happens to you and your work if you’re dashing around from one person or place to another and not truly doing what is expected, and what you’re paid to do?
You might need to hire other people to help you and have backup so you don’t fall behind.
How many clients do you need to make a living?
How many people can you truly work for and service them as they expect?
How do you want people to talk about you and your work?
Trust and good service are opportunities to build something – your business and reputation and invest in relationships with the people you work with and who pay you now and hopefully in the future as they stick with you.
