Disciplines are Choices and Skills

DISCIPLINE IS A CHOICE. It’s a skill you can practice. It’s learning – applying some standard to your life because you see value and meaning in the practice. You like the effect discipline has on you.
One discipline you can consciously choose to practice is gratitude.
You can make a choice to be grateful for something at any time or place, even if your circumstances and emotions are focused on worry, fear, despair, and hurt.
Kindness is a discipline and choice.
Generosity – forgiveness – leadership – honesty – empathy – clarity – reliability – service – contribution – goodwill – communication – caring – are disciplines you can choose to live by.
Practice them long enough, with commitment, and disciplines become natural habits.
