Ask for Help and Give Help Too

by Michael Feeley
We all need help in some way, and the best way to get it is to ask.
“I need your help.”
These powerful, compassionate words call to the deepest and best thing in another person.
Too often, we feel we have to do things for ourselves, and asking for help is weakness, selfish, and others will disrespect us.
“I need your help.”
Say these words a few times and see the practical, profound, and positive emotions they make for.
You can also look around and see where other people could use your help, naturally take action, and reach out. Generous people never ask – “What’s in it for me.” They organically give.
“Here, let me help you.”
