A Life of Service
by Michael Feeley
HOW MUCH IS SERVICE your true nature – your organic desire to give and think about what it means to help another person do well and feel happy?
The natural, profound, and generous choice that compels you to ask – “How can I help?”
When you hope to serve you don’t wait to be asked or told; you see, and you act.
Service is about humanity and one of our deepest desires because service has kindness for people in it. You have goodwill by finding solutions to problems. You repair, maintain, and care for something to make life better.
You can learn and practice all kinds of services, and the outstanding services, the ones that have people talking (even raving) about you, always come from the heart and having empathy for others.
“It’s high time the ideal of success should be replaced with the ideal of service…
only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” – Albert Einstein
How can you be of service?
