A Just Life
by Michael Feeley
YOU’RE LIVING LIFE. You’re on a path – a road – a journey – a voyage.
Your life has some direction – work – goals – purposes – challenges – dreams – commitments – practices – all kinds of emotions and choices.
You’re not alone. Others are walking right next to you – ahead and behind and all around, and that fact is a beautiful,
deep encouragement and opportunity.
You have community – family – friends – strangers who are like and different from you. You can choose to be alone or join together and count on each other, committing to making things better.
– I’m committed to leading my life with gratitude and love.
– I am doing the work to lead my life with honor, without harming anyone else.
– I am digging into how I see the world and other people – taking a good look at me – keeping what is just and changing
what is not, so I can respect myself and actively have a good effect on other people.
– I hold myself accountable for how I see the world and treat people.
– I want my thoughts, the words I speak, and my actions to be fair and kind.
People can help me, I’m wide open to this work of change, but no one lives in my shoes and the truth inside my mind, body, and soul… no one walks life for me.
Thanks – Michael
